Cottage Rules & Disclaimer

Tarowood Cottage has been purpose built for your enjoyment, however, there are a few rules to ensure your safety and enjoyment as well as future guests and our own safety as owners. On confirmation of a booking, you will receive more detailed information regarding the use of appliances and what not.  If you have any questions regarding these rules, please feel free to contact us using the contact form on the contact us page.

House Rules:

  • Guests are welcome to go for a walk around the property; we have a marked track/circuit which will take you past our seasonal creek.

  • Guests are not allowed in areas clearly signed as Private Property. We are not home all the time and our home and work areas are alarmed.

  • For your safety, we ask you not to enter the paddocks which have padlocks on the gates. We have cattle roaming on our property.

  • Please do not climb or let children climb on fences, farm equipment and any buildings (sheds etc). This is for your own safety.

  • The use of motorbikes and 4WDs are not permitted on the property.

  • Noise does travel far in this quiet area and loud music is not permitted.

  • No smoking policy inside the cottage, on the verandas or within five metres of the cottage itself.

  • Please keep doors & windows shut. Tarowood Cottage is a bush property and as a result, we cohabitate with spiders and snakes.

  • Please make note of the first safety and emergency evacuation plan clearly presented on the back of the front door. In the case of an emergency such as bushfire, please follow the directions in a safe manner
